A 2017 National Public Libraries intern, James Horton Jr. worked with media academy instructors to teach youth how to create hip-hop, and how to use the hip-hop as a way of spreading a socially charged and important message. While also creating original content in a soundtrack for a documentary on Homelessness in Madison in Logic Pro X. Jame is also a founding member of the hip-hop group the Supa Friends, attempting to being real authentic hip-hop back to the foregrounds.
