Charles De Leone is Associate Director of the CSUSM Center for Research and Engagement in STEM Education. He is a professor of physics and has been the PI and co-PI on multiple private and federal grants aimed at developing, adapting, and implementing best practices science curriculum and in supporting institutional change in STEM. He was a committee member on the “Barriers and Opportunities for 2-year and 4-year STEM Degrees” report by the National Academies and publishes in physics education research.
